



Naramata Yoga
Jennifer Kanazawa was raised in the Okanagan Valley. Her background in trauma informed wholistic healing began at the age of 13 with Jeet Kune Do and the Filipino Martial Arts, which later flourished into self-defence workshops for women and group class facilitation at the age of 18. In 1999 Jennifer began walking the yogic path. She is an Indigenous Traditional Healer and ERYT- 200 Yoga Alliance certified instructor who has been blessed to teach practices of Gitananda Nada Yoga by Yogacharya Dr. Ananda Balayogi Bhavanani, Yin Yoga by Bernie Clark, and Hatha Yoga by Mugs of the South Okanagan Yoga Academy.
Jennifer's approach to Wellness Facilitation is reflective of her martial arts background. The strengths and skill set of each individual is unique to themselves. In celebrating the diverse nature of oneness, each person's extraordinary essence can be revealed. From her perspective, the knowledge that has been passed down to her is the perfect vessel for self-transformation and spiritual growth.

Yin
Born out of Chinese metaphysics, Yin Yoga offers a deeper stretch, facilitating increased strength and mobility to the joints, ligaments and tendons while harmonizing the mind body & spirit.
Blocks, blanket, and yoga strap are encouraged.

Half Week Hatha Yoga
Pause midweek and reset with this grounding, all-levels yoga class designed to help you move, breathe, and unwind. This steady-paced Hatha practice focuses on classic postures held with intention, allowing time to build strength, improve mobility, and cultivate wellbeing--both on and off the mat. No session July 1, 8.
CC - Room 3 Wednesdays May 20 - Aug. 19 10:30-11:45am $11/visit
Wind Down Yin Yoga
A slow, soothing practice designed to help you release the day and prepare for deep rest. This gentle class features long held, floor based postures that target the fascia of the body, increasing mobility and regulating the nervous system.
CC - Room 3 Thursdays May 21 - Sept.3 5:45-7pm $11/visit
Half Week Hatha & Wind Down Yin are exempt for the Naramata Pass, please register with the Penticton Community Center

The 7th annual Naramata Elementary School fundraiser will be a one day 3 class event featuring the local facilitators of Naramata!
